Nothing brings out the kid in everyone quite like an ice cream bar where your guests get to build their own sundae.
Use hard or soft serve ice cream. If using hard ice cream be sure to keep the ice cream containers in a tub of ice to ensure the ice cream stays firm. Soft serve ice cream machines can be rented from most party supply rental companies.
Have fun personalizing your ice cream containers like the ones in the top left photo courtesy of the Steven & Chris show http://www.cbc.ca/stevenandchris/2012/02/ice-cream-parlour-party.html. I also love how they used store bought ice cream cones as flower vases to decorate the ice cream parlour table – too cute!
